Jess & Russ im Interview bei "The Great Discontent"

Jessica Hische und Russ Maschmeyer leben so ein wenig den „creative match made in heaven“-Traum, seit sie ihre Hochzeit mit einer schmucken Seite publik gemacht haben. In einem Interview bei The Great Discontent erzählen die beiden vom Kennenlernen, von großen Risiken in ihrem Berufsleben sowie vom Umzug von der Ost- an die Westküste der USA.

Morgen (24. August) gehen die beiden den Bund der Ehe ein und ich denke, wir werden auch dazu noch einiges an Anschauungsmaterial in bekannter Jess & Russ-Manier bekommen. Ich freue mich drauf… unterdessen schaue ich mir einfach Moonrise Kingdom von Wes Anderson an.

»Hey Dad. Yup, I’m in the parking lot of Facebook getting ready to do an interview; I have my thesis presentation in a few days; and oh, by the way, I’m getting married.«

»This is a funny story. When I was a kid, my dad would take me to the mall on my birthday and give me $50 to spend on whatever I wanted. I would just walk around the mall for six hours until he would say, “Just buy something,” and then all of a sudden I would have $100 instead of $50. I’ve switched roles and now I’m the “just buy something” person and Russ is the one walking around the mall.«
